Yesterday, as I was walking with friends to Coliemore Harbour for our daily swim it dawned on me for the first time that we've been doing home workouts and online classes for over 3 months now.
Take a second to let that fact sink in and give yourself a pat on the back for getting to this point.
My perception of time has definitely been a little warped what with the global uncertainty, trauma and peculiar uniqueness that has been 2020, but genuinely it felt to me like we'd only been doing the online thing for a month or two.
As I got home I took a look at all of the videos I'd uploaded to my subscription platform and I felt a mixture of pride, awe and to be honest, a little overwhelm was peppered in there too, I realised a little structure was in order to make the most of these amazing workouts.
So, the innate organiser in me got to work and I updated the layout of the Pilates Classes page by separating them into 2 pages: 60 Minute Pilates and 30-45 Minute Pilates.
I've grouped the 60 minute classes from the past into 4 broad categories to make them easier to pick out these categories are:
Core Baby - for that scrumptious abby burn
Booty & Thighs - more of a total body workout with legs for days
Posture Power & Upper Body - great for sedentary peeps
Chilled Out Vibes - for when you want to move, but have a lower energy day
As always, when you're approaching any of my classes it's a good idea to look at them through the lens of the 6 Pilates Principles.
Definitely take a look at my fun little video on the do's and don'ts of 6 Pilates Principles here:
